• • Solid understanding of OT/IT network architectures, industrial communication protocols, and automation system integration.
• • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet/IP, OPC UA, SNMP, MQTT, and IEC 61850.
• • Solid understanding of Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security, including network segmentation, access management, patch management, backup and recovery strategies, and industrial cyber security standards such as IEC 62443.
• • Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platforms and integration with BMS, PMS, EMS, and CMMS solutions is preferred.
• • Experience in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and commissioning activities.
• • Relevant automation certifications are preferred.

• • Develop, review, and maintain technical specifications, engineering standards, design criteria, and architecture documents for automation systems.
• • Lead the design, engineering, implementation, integration, testing, and commissioning of automation systems to maximize operational reliability, availability, safety, and efficiency.
• • Define and implement cyber security requirements for BMS, PMS, SCADA, and other Operational Technology (OT) systems in accordance with corporate cyber security policies and industry standards.
• • Manage the entire lifecycle of automation systems, including software upgrades, firmware updates, hardware replacement planning, licensing, backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and vendor support.
• • Lead the integration of automation platforms with electrical, mechanical, IT infrastructure, monitoring systems, DCIM platforms, and third-party applications through standard industrial protocols and APIs.
• • Develop automation workflows, dashboards, reports, scripts, data transformations, alarms, and system interfaces to improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
• • Troubleshoot automation, communication, software, networking, data acquisition, and system integration issues across multiple platforms.
• • Prepare technical specifications, scope of work, tender documents, and technical evaluation reports for procurement activities.
• • Review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• • Plan, supervise, and monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and site deployment activities for automation systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• • Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), performance testing, and final handover activities at automation systems.
• • Coordinate automation-related activities with electrical, mechanical, IT, network, cyber security, construction, operations, and facility management teams.
• • Manage automation contractors, system integrators, and technology partners by monitoring project quality, technical compliance, software maintenance, support services, and contractual deliverables.
• • Monitor automation system performance by analyzing operational data, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• • Perform system health checks, periodic audits, risk assessments, cybersecurity assessments, and gap analyses for existing automation infrastructure.
• • Develop mitigation plans and oversee the implementation of corrective actions to minimize operational and cyber security risks.
• • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, digitalization, analytics, AI-assisted monitoring, predictive maintenance, and advanced alarming strategies.
• • Conduct technical evaluations, Proof of Concept (PoC) studies, pilot implementations, and benchmarking of new automation technologies and products.
• • Track emerging technologies, global trends, and industry best practices related to data center automation, OT infrastructure, and smart facility management.
• • Identify and implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency and sustainability by optimizing cooling systems, power monitoring, energy management systems, and facility automation.
• • Ensure automation systems comply with company standards, customer requirements, applicable regulations, and international industry standards.
• • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, operation manuals, as-built documentation, and lessons learned for internal knowledge sharing.
• • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to internal engineering and operations teams while supporting critical operational issues when required.
